South Gilbert Studio Policies

Everything you need to know about registration, tuition, attendance, and studio life at INSPIRE South Gilbert.

Disclaimer

This is a summary of our policies and procedures for informational purposes only. The full, official document must be reviewed and agreed to during registration for your child to participate in activities at INSPIRE South Gilbert. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Registration is required for all classes, performing groups, and camps. There is a non-refundable registration fee of $40 for an individual or $60 per family due at the time of registration. Students will not be added to class rosters until payment is received.

The registration fee is assessed on an annual basis, to be paid by August of each year or when registering for the first class of the season.

All accounts are required to have a valid credit card on file and be enrolled in AutoPay. Tuition will be charged to the card on file on the due dates as communicated.

Alternate payment methods — such as cash, check, other cards, or PSO funds — will only be accepted if a valid card is already on file and the payment is received before the due date.

  • A $25 automatic fee will apply for any insufficient funds or disputed charges.
  • Families using ESA funds or ClassWallet must coordinate and receive prior approval from the Office Manager before tuition due dates.

  • Tuition is due on the 1st of each month (charged to the card on file).
  • If the card on file is declined, you have until the 5th of the month to update your payment information and complete the payment.
  • A $25 late fee will be applied on the 6th of the month for unpaid tuition.
  • An additional $25 fee will be charged on the 15th of the month for any declined credit card transactions.
  • Monthly tuition remains the same each month, regardless of breaks, holidays, illness, personal vacations, or missed classes.
  • Make-up classes are available to accommodate missed sessions.

Tuition must be current for your child to attend classes. If payments are overdue, attendance will be suspended until the balance is paid in full.

Additionally, any outstanding fees — including costume fees, convention fees, and competition fees — must be paid by the specified deadlines. Failure to do so may result in your child not receiving their costume and/or being ineligible to perform or compete.

To withdraw from INSPIRE South Gilbert, a 30-day written notice is required. You may submit your notice via email or letter. Tuition will be prorated based on the withdrawal date.

Example: If a student withdraws on April 15th, May tuition will still be due, but only through May 15th.

Please send cancellation notices to southgilbert@inspireent.com.

Students participating in the Rec May Showcase will have a costume fee of $85 per class they are performing in. Tumbling and Hip Hop classes typically have a lower costume cost.

  • A $50 non-refundable costume deposit per costume is due by November 15th.
  • The remaining balance is due by January 15th.
  • Costume fees will be automatically charged to the card on file on the due dates. If you prefer to pay another way, payment must be received before the due date.
  • If you register for or switch classes in January or later, your child may still participate in the class, but costume availability for the Showcase is not guaranteed.
  • No students will be allowed to join performing classes after March 1st so teachers can finalize Showcase choreography.

To ensure the best experience for all students, please arrive on time to each class.

  • If a student misses more than 3 classes without written notice, we reserve the right to withdraw the student from the class without a refund.
  • Make-up classes must be completed within the same month the class was missed.
  • Visit the front desk to check available make-up class options for your child.

Occasionally, a substitute instructor may be needed. When this happens, we will provide an appropriate substitute for the class.

If a substitute cannot be arranged, the class will be canceled and you will be notified as soon as possible. In such cases, we will offer either a make-up class or an account credit for the canceled session.

It is the responsibility of the parent or guardian to stay informed about all studio-related dates, including studio closures, performances and rehearsals, picture days, service projects, class changes, and other special events.

Please ensure that INSPIRE South Gilbert has your current email, phone number, and mailing address, and that you check your email regularly. We strongly encourage all parents to download the INSPIRE South Gilbert App for timely updates. You can update your contact information anytime at the front desk or online.

  • One-week breaks in October and March.
  • A two-week break in December.
  • Select Monday and Friday holiday breaks will also be observed.
  • Please refer to the Studio Calendar for all scheduled breaks and closures.

  • Parents of children under 8 years old are encouraged to walk their child into class.
  • If you plan to leave during class, please ensure we have an updated cell phone number to reach you if needed.
  • INSPIRE does not provide care before or after class. Please do not drop off students more than 5 minutes before class starts.
  • Please pick up your child promptly at the end of class. A $15 late fee will be applied if a child is picked up more than 15 minutes late.
  • INSPIRE is not responsible if your child leaves campus on their own, so please communicate any specific needs directly with their teacher.

Proper dance attire and shoes are required, with strict enforcement of the following: no halter tops, bra tops, or anything that shows midriff. Please refer to the Class Descriptions document for the required dress and shoes for each class.

INSPIRE Entertainment of South Gilbert LLC is granted permission to take photographs and videos of students to use in marketing and promotional materials the studio creates, indefinitely. Permission is also granted for the studio to copyright such photographs in its name.
